Nissan Navara engine specialists for YD25DDTI 2005- Duplex timing chain modifications. It has come to our attention at Billcar Limited that Nissan Navara & Pathfinder YD25DDTI engines 2005- Euro 3, Euro 4 & Euro 5 are suffering with primary drive chain problems. The single row chain fitted from new is under to much stress. Check out the above pictures you can see how the chain is stretching compared with the brand new chain. Also at the same time the chain is wearing the chain rails & internal timing casing.

Also wearing the timing gears. We advise customers with engines 60000 miles upwards to consider having a duplex timing chain modification. In house at Billcar Limited we have recently repaired a number of engines due to single row chain & component failure. All rebuilt YD25DDTI engines from Billcar Limited are now fitted with the duplex timing chain modification. The kit for Euro 3 & Euro 4 contains, 1 x Vacuum pump with new uprated parts, The duplex gear & hardened splined shaft are new components.

1 x Duplex timing chain kit using genuine Nissan components. 1 x Gear set containing duplex crank gear & fuel pump gear. 1 x Set of seals. Also the vacuum pump playing an important part of the conversion kit, as we have engineered & uprated parts within the vacuum pump to with stand the duplex chain, also the original shaft is known to be a weak point after simplex chain failure.
